MEMAN project partners gather for 6th Technical Committee Meeting

On 17 and 18 November 2016, MEMAN project partners gathered in Nice for their sixth Technical Committee Meeting. The meeting was hosted by Technofi and gave the opportunity to partners to review the latest results, coordinate the work planned for the next six months and consolidate a shared common vision of the project.

Among the innovations presented at the meeting, was the toolbox that has been developed by TUBS for the German Surface Finishing Cluster to help the manufacturing industry improve its performance in energy consumption, CO2 emissions and raw material use. This tool will allow companies from the metal-mechanical sector to optimise the whole value chain in view of maximising their resource saving potential and increasing their competitiveness.

In addition, partners reviewed and commented on the communication activities undertaken so far, and discussed the project’s exploitation strategy.

The next meeting Technical Committee Meeting will take place in May 2017.
